I have over 12k rounds in each of my AP5-P (bought in September ‘23) and AP5 (bought in March ‘24). After the proper 500 round break in period (don’t skip this) using ONLY 124gr NATO FMJ, I’ve been able to shoot 115 and 124gr HP and FMJ supers along with 125gr TUI, 135gr HP, 147gr FMJ and HP, 150gr (S&B “flat nose”) and 165gr RN subs. I’ve used the stock triggers, binary triggers, and now modified Geissele SD-E triggers in the AS Designs lowers. If you really like using Geissele triggers (as it seems you do), get the metal AS Designs lower. If you want to keep the stock look, wait for the ARHK drop in from AS Designs. Do not, I repeat… do not buy Rare Greed. I, like you, have a Geissele trigger (SSAE-X) in my 11.5” 5.56. So naturally, I have them in my AP5 and AP5-P.
