| r/LabourUK | Why Is Labour Losing Voters? A new poll confirms that Labour’s stance on the Gaza genocide is driving a decline in support. To win back voters, the party must defend the Palestinian people. | iirc his NATO stance is that we need to stay in at the moment, but should look to be much less reliant on the US due to how inconsistent they are as an ally, and we should have back up alliances ready in case the US don't honour their commitments. And if anything he's since been proven completely right on that, as this was before the US started it's own illegal war of agression on Iran. One minute he is saying we need to stay in nato, the next he is talking about some defensive alliance with europe or brics states, the next he is speaking about some utopian diplomatic arrangement or whatever. The only explanation I can see is that he is winging it from interview to interview on a topic that the greens are already perceived poorely on and that is vital to european deterrence. | NaturalCard | Jun 10, 11:41 AM EDT | | |
